Is it not necessary to remove the "vapor barrier" paper face on the fiberglass insulation? Or else you em's up with a double layer which could also cause a moisture problem from condensation inside the wall

Was the engineer ok with your rebar’s running into the soil? You didn’t use any rebar chairs?

You should not vapor barrier over the paper it could condensate... use non papered insulation in the wall then your vapor barrier over top

My utility sink line connection is right above the standing washer p with as much i used a normal tee and had a ton of water come back up into the sink. Since my connection is right above the p trap, Would a ty into a 45° elbow work Instead work as well or better then a street 90 or sanatary tee? Been to home depo t about 10 in 3 days ar and im prtty sure theyre workers are annoyed with me as much as i am of them so if i don't get this right after My next visit then imma need to catch a fade with a few of them...

It's a nice job and will definitely hold don't get me wrong just that top set up and the ability to correct or counter the continuing issue. How are the 2x10's secured at the top if you don't mind my asking?? As you mentioned on the inside of the floor joist butting some 2x10's anchored with architect screws and some cross bracing was a good idea! Thank you for the reply keep up the good work!

What is the difference between the T and street 90? So the street 90 goes into a T and the water from the washer will be enough room to get through. Does the street 90 also allow water from the top to get through fine?

My 01 Sport Trac has a strange clucking sound and you can feel it through the truck but only after you have been driving fast on the freeway for a while and then you slow down and exit for a fuel stop and you are moving very slow just moving up to the bowsers and then by the time you get fueled up and start to leave it has stopped making the noise again. I was wondering if the chain gets hot and sags a little bit and is hitting on something. My problem is that I live in the Philippines and there is nobody with any experience of these over here. Well that engineer must have gotten his licence online!!! Why the hell would you not have used spring steel I beam with a 1" bolt and bracket at the top to actually correct the problem for half as much $$$???? Commenting for a friend!
